Over the Christmas and New Year period 2017/18 Intergenerate CIC ran a series of camps for those affected by Grenfell, open to all ages, at The Curve. We ran a Map Your Migration Stories activity which was very popular. This activity started the conversation about people’s unique heritage and identities. It encouraged a greater appreciation for one’s own identity as well as those of others. We also offered a range of arts and crafts activities and arranged trips to go ice skating at the Natural History Museum and to see the exhibitions at the V&A Museum. We also brought our Healing Pod back at The Curve to create a peaceful environment for anyone who needed it. We had story time in the pod with the younger children and this was always a lovely moment of calm in the day.
